I don't know what Yaesu service is like, but I do know their *parts* service and availablity is most excellent. I can give a number of instances where the support for their older equipment has pleasantly surprised me. I have found the prices to be quite reasonable too. Overall, compared to the "other two" I've found Yaesu to be better on replacement parts in availability, delivery and price. Wayne VE3EFJ
