Help with identifying a Yaesu FTDX-401

I have a FT DX401 and manual, BUT I have a fault in the AGC, and my 'rig' doesn't
look anything like the manual, there are the markings on the main circuit board, for the
components as described in the circuit, but there are no components in these locations,
there are a number of "factory fitted" daughter boards, which are not described in the manual.

It has a AM position on the MODE switch similar to the FT-401B, maybe it is one after all. Is
there available a scan of a circuit diagram out there for the FT-401B ????

Can anyone shed some light on the lineage of these rigs, and any way of obtaining a suitable
circuit diagram for the rig I have.

I will tell you how to decide if the manual/circuit is going to be any help to me.

If the circuit diagram has the AGC rectifier diodes D204 and D212 (are type IS1007) then you
have the same circuit I have, and it is of no use.

If I could get a FT-401B circuit maybe i could work it out.

  Could you help me please..

  Regards,

  Rodney
