Thomas The S meter zero set if out of whack. The pot to adjust is VR 2005 located on the top edge of the IF unit ....... pot VR 2006 sets for S-9 ..... just adjust VR 2005 so the S meter is sitting on zero with NO antenna connected ........The IF unit is the fourth board from the radios right side ...... 73's John
