The trouble with S1001 is that it
disables the RCA RX ant jack.
What you want to do is to leave
S1001 alone and instead energize
the relay it controls by grounding
the appropriate end of the winding
(the other end is connected to 12V).
If you do that, the front panel
RX ant switch will continue to
work normally, selecting the
RCA RX ant jack or transmit antenna
for the main receiver.
Meanwhile, the sub receiver listens
to whatever receive antenna is on the
EBPF SO-239.
Does that solve your problem?
