[Yaesu] 847 vs 897

Hello all!!
I am looking to get a new radio and have it narrowed down to either the =
Yaesu 847 or the 897. I was wondering if anyone on this list has had =
experience with both radios? I am looking for something that is easy to =
use, can travel occasionally (Field Day and such), and has good =
selectivity and sensitivity on receive. I do some contesting but also =
like to ragchew; mainly all SSB. Also, what would be good additional =
filters to get for either of these radios?
Any info, suggestions, or tips would be greatly appreciated!
