Subject: [Yaesu] NB in FT920 vs NB in FT100D
Looking at possibly getting a Yaesu FT920. I
currently have a Yaesu FT100D, and have found that the
NB is excellent in it. It is one of the reasons I
picked out this radio. It takes out the line noise I
have at the QTH, in a way that is nothing short of
remarkable.
Has anyone compared a FT100D to a FT920 in terms of
the NB? Are they close to comparable? I don't want
to get a FT920, and then have to listen to noise most
of the time. That is why I got rid of my Icom 746.=20
Can I expect similar performance to the FT100D out of
the FT920, in terms of removing noise with the NB?
Any comments, good or bad, will be appreciated.
