Hi David,

Thanks for the feedback.  My intent was to open the 420-430 part of the US
70cm band.

My radio may have be a later model than yours.  I have not noticed any
feature degradation (all memory settings including repeater shift and tones
continue to work as before).
Of course I did have to re-enter all the memory settings....

I did have to turn ARS back on after re-setting the radio.

There is a fair amount of software burned into the radio, and it may very
have been upgraded and/or patched during its manufacturing life.
