I recently acquired an FT-8500. The "bulb" in the display is not working. I have gone to the menu item that controls the dimmer and that is set to bright. I started to take the faceplate apart but was afraid to force it open. Has anyone experienced ths problem with this rado or a similar one? Has anyone replaced the "bulb" in the display? Dave N1IX
