[Yaesu] MH-1 Microphone

Hello all:

I purchased a used FT-747GX that came with an MH-1 hand mic.  On the back
of the mic is a slide switch labeled tone with selections of 1 or 2.  Any
idea where i can get more info on the mic.  Audio reports using both
settings don't seem to notice much difference.  Any info is appreciated.
