It has been my good fortune to have worked David, KI6FF, since the early 80's.
He was always very patient with my weak (vertical) signal from an apartment
balcony in Burbank.

David was a great proponent of VHF/UHF and microwave operation.
I will miss his voice as net control of the swap net on 2m SSB.  And I look forward
to many years of the Bozo Net on Sunday nights that David revived for us all.

I only met him a handful of times face to face, but we had a chance to talk
on the air several times a week for all these years.  So David really was a 

part of my life and a part of the lives of everyone who works weak signals in California.
 We have benefited from his being here with us.
