Hi Larry

I use rover log in post contest mode.  IE, I paper log and then enter 
the log into Rover log after the contest.  With my limited space in the 
front seat of an SUV, carrying a computer along just isn't worth the 
trouble.  Although I've never used the real time logging feature that 
was the basic design center of the program.  Besides, it's free.

Please tell me more regarding your friends plans.  If both of us show up 
at Mt Diablo, etc it's a bit of a problem.  I try and coordinate with 
other rovers in the area so we avoid being at the same place at the same 
time.
