Next Tuesday (Nov. 3), N6MU and N6NB will be in Nevada
(DM25/26) with a 10-band rover station. On Nov. 4, we
plan to be in Utah (DM37). We will have 800 watts
out on 6 and 2 meters (with vacuum tube amplifiers),
about 100 watts out on 222 and 432, 50 watts out on
902 and 1296, and 20 watts out on 2.3, 3.4, 5.7 and
10 GHz.

Although we will only have relatively small antennas,
we should be able to work into Southern California
on several bands. Unfortunately, the place we'll be
in Utah (Utah Pass near St. George) is clear only
to the southwest, with higher terrain to the west
and south. If time permits, we may also go about
100 miles further northeast to an overlook in Cedar
Breaks National Monument (still DM37). That site
is clear southeast toward central Arizona and west
toward the San Francisco Bay Area.

Look for us on 144.200 in the late afternoon and early
evening hours when tropo enhancement often occurs on
this path.

-Wayne, N6NB
