Hi Jeff,
Several years ago I used the 3\4" Cu tubing to make up some Shephards
Crooks and at the time I setup to measure the loss of the w/g using two
20 foot pieces of tubing with two 90 degree bends. I found that there
was less loss than WR90 over the same distance. But, I did find that
you must be careful in selecting the 90 bends. Some of them have the
diameter smaller than 3/4". When this happens you will find that the
wave will rotate some what. On the Shepherds crook, this amounted
to about 6 degrees or more. I found that the Nibco brand 90's were
the best since they maintain the same diameter.
