I was thinking about your statement below and I have a
question.  You mention that you had two people who
have volunteered to fill in but that wasn't enough to
fill the need.  My question is this:  Why can't the
bylaws be changed (and voted on by the membership) so
that the requirements for club officers be lowered to
three.  You could combine the President and Vice
President into one person, have a Secretary and a
Treasurer.  If we did that, the three people (two
volunteers and you) would be enough to keep the club
afloat.  Is there any reason why you couldn't have a
three person board? 

Just a thought.  Comments?
