[Wswss] End of WSWSS

A week ago I notified the membership that I am the only remaining 
functioning WSWSS officer and that the organization would have to be 
disbanded unless members volunteered to fill the vacant positions.  Two 
people have offered to help.  Unfortunately that was not enough to fill 
the need.  I have discussed the process of disbanding with members in 
both northern and southern California and determined that the procedure 
below is appropriate.

There is $4,386.08 in the treasury.  My intention is to refund 
membership dues beginning in December and working backward until the 
remaining 105 blank checks are used up.  Any remaining funds will be 
donated to the ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund.  When all funds have been 
disbursed, I will send a financial statement to the membership.  
Remaining office supplies (stamps, envelopes, etc.) will be donated to 
the local Salvation Army.  If any members have spent funds on behalf of 
WSWSS that still need to be reimbursed, please submit your receipts and 
statements no later than January 20.

The California Secretary of State and federal IRS will be notified that 
the organization is no longer in existence.

The WSWSS certificate program will cease to exist as of February 1, 
2007, and awards will be sent out by mid-February.  It would be 
appreciated if sanctioned net controls will submit their net logs as 
soon as possible after their last January nets.
