[Wswss] A WSWSS requiem and postmortem

As Robert stated, the reflector is it's own entity. I
vote we just keep it the way it is. I am sure there
would be a lot of losses in the transition and like
Robert says, we would also lose the message archives.

If we kept it the same, there would be no reason to
unsubscribe or do anything. The only way to change
the reflector name would be to start a new reflector.
This can be done, but it would be a manual process.
The new reflector would have to be set up then each
current subscriber would either have to subscribe
themselves to the new list, or the current list
manager (AD6CW?) would have to manually add each
person using the membership management section of the
reflector software. The latter way would require the
list manager to basically cut and paste each member
from the old list to the new list. Way too much work
just because the name of the list is WSWSS.

That's my 2 cents.

73,
Neil - N6VHF
