[Wswss] A WSWSS requiem and postmortem

The reflector does not, nor ever has been "owned" to the WSWSS, just the 
name.  The reflector is provided at no charge by QSL.NET with only 
occasional requests from the provider (except for occasional requests for 
donations to list managers and users).  I created the reflector in April 
1997 in the name of the WSWSS to promote group activities and to facilitate 
communications/activity amongst enthusiasts in the western states.  In Feb 
2002 I turned over list management to Jim, AD6CW.  As far as I know Jim is 
still the list manager.  I too would hate to see this resource disappear, 
nor would I be bothered if the list name did not change from WSWSS.

I don't know if the list name can be changed without creating a new 
list.  If the current list is shut down, any archives may disappear (I 
don't know how QSL.NET deals with closed lists).
