Hello to all,

Good activity and propagation this morning.

N6XQ/b (DM12jr) was a steady 10 dB above the noise this morning starting at about 0830 local. Periodic airplane reflections noted with associated doppler shift on top of the steady tropo signal. Weather here was cold and clear.

At 0930 I was joined by W6PQL (CM97am) and WA6KLK (CM89hi) as well as K6TSK (DM03xt) and K6HLH (DM14). The following QSO's were completed:

W6PQL     <-----> K6TSK
                    ------>K6HLH (Heard but no response from Larry)

NA6XX     <-----> K6TSK
                  <-----> K6HLH (new inital Q for me on 1296 - thanks Larry)

WA6KLK              Hearing cw weakly. Note to all, Len runs a dish w/ narrow front lobe. Beam heading to                                                             CM89hi enough different than PQL and XX to require some adjustment.

I believe that Larry W6OMF (CM98) and Jim AF6O (DM14) are gone for the weekend. I will continue to encourage Larry to show up on Saturday and Sunday am's for those of us in the Southern California clan that need CM98.

One other point of note is that Ralph reports that Jim W6PQL and Chuck W6CRO made it a two way Friday night on the WSWSS net. A new inital for both on this band. Way to go guys.

See you all 12/16 & 12/17 as I will be travelling on business for the next 2 weeks.
