A real flip side from last week; from here, conditions down the coast were
terrible, but good to the Sacramento valley and other inland locales.
Ralph had a killer signal, s7 when we switched to ssb, and never less than
s1 the entire time up here. Jim's signal was also good, and indirect at
about 10deg south of his true heading...I'm guessing due to scatter off of
something near the coast.
Ken in El Dorado had the best signal from the Sierras; Bill in Pollack
Pines was down, perhaps indicating the presence of an inversion below him
but above Ken? We may figure this out some day :)
