Dear WSWSS members:
VHF etiquette complaints that directly refer to individuals named in the WSWSS forum don't belong here. It is very devisive, regardless of perceived results.
That happened to me via a 3rd party. In my case, it was a private email between me and another party that was displayed here without my prior knowledge or permission. I got over it.
The lesson is clear. NEVER send an email to anyone and assume it will be private. I asked a lawyer about this and he said that in some circumstances, your personal reputation being attacked via email may be subject to a lawsuit. It is defamation of character if the person or
in our case, actual call sign is named as a "public nuisance," in whatever language used that has negative connotation.
The one remedy you have regarding contesting is that you can complain to the ARRL VHF QSO Party Chairman about any actual rules breaking. Also, "un-sportsmanlike" activity is considered broadly as bad operating practice that can void certain parties contest scores if they enter a log. This policing is rarely used.

P.S>--Have a nice day!
