Here I have a 10w DEM transverter driving a solid state Motorola(Nextel cell
amp) with an output of 150won 902.1. Others are getting about 200+ but I am
power supply limited. Some people have mentioned that THEY are using 903 in
the bay area. What is their reasoning? I am aware that the East coast used
903 as well. Why I do not know. Mike /w6we /cm95rd

Hi Jim, et el,
I'm on from Fresno State College, DM06ct, during contests. DEM 10 watt TX
with a 30 el m2 antenna. Equipment is at 150' level. As soon as I get this
and the rest of the microwave gear remoted, I can be available for skeds
anytime. I have a 60 watt amp ready to be installed as well.

Hi Jim,
I was just thinking about purchasing a DEMI 60 watt transverter for 902
MHz.
I already have a 47 element loop yagi, so I figured that it might be nice
to
give 902 a try if there are others on the band too. So if all goes well,
maybe in the next month or two I'll have some capability up there. If you
have any words of wisdom on any brand of transverter that you like, please
let
me know. Talk to you soon!
