I hv a Texscan Sweep Signal Generator (model SG-677/U) for sale. It
cover a center frequency range of 500KHz to 1200MHz & has variable sweep
widths fm 10KHz to 400MHz. A built in detector provides X & Y outputs
to an oscilloscope for displaying the swept waveform. It is very well
built & a fully enclosed unit & can be rack mounted (standard 8.75 x
19" panel). Or, the entire enclosure fits into a very sturdy RFI proof
metal case for transporting & portable operation which is included.
I hv gone thru the entire Field Level Calibration Procedure for this
unit except for accurately setting the RF output level since I don't hv
a RF power meter to measure 6 mw at 1200 MHz. However, I hv verified
the output level on my spectrum analyzer.
It comes with a photocopy of the Technical Manual for Operation &
Maintenance (includes schematics). Fair Radio Sales in Ohio sells these
units as "used/repairable" for $275 + $15 for a photocopy of the manual.
The unit I hv for sale is priced at $195 & included the manual & heavy
duty carrying case.
Will need to add shipping + packing costs to the above figures. This is
a great piece of test equipment for those of us who cannot afford a
network analyzer.
Tnx & 73,
Bob, K6PF
