[WSWSS] Brick Amp VS: MM Preamps

I just discovered today that my brick amps ,Mirage(original) and RF Concepts
will not allow transceiver preamp power to pass thru them. Anyone have a
easy solution to this problem. I now have some ssb mm preamps for my
portable setup( or maybe I don't!)
This situation caught me by surprise!  I really want to avoid using another
wire for hard switching.
