There is a new HOAX e-mail that is spreading all over the internet! Please
read this to avoid causing your computer any harm.

If you receive a message from someone that tells you to search your hard
drive for a file, that is supposed to be a virus, and then delete it if you
find the file, please ignore that message! This is a HOAX e-mail. The
file that they are telling you to delete is a valid file that your computer
needs to operate. When you delete it, the next time you boot your
computer, it will more than likely crash!!! Don't be fooled by these
hackers! I have attached one of the actual HOAX e-mails below so you can
see what I am talking about. If your computer did have a virus, your virus
software would quarantine the file and let you know. You should never have
to go searching for a file that is supposedly a virus,
ever! Unfortunately, someone in our club must have fallen for this HOAX
because that is where I got this message!

The following message is an actual HOAX e-mail so you will know what they
look like:

*****************************************************************************************************
I just received an email from a close friend of mine where she apologized
for having a virus in her address book and told me that now I do too, so
even though we may not have corresponded in awhile I am not taking any
chances and I'm passing the word onto you. She said that the good news is
that it is easy to be rid of this virus by doing the following:

1. Go to start, then Find or Search
2. In Files/Folders, write the name: jdbgmgr.exe
3. Be sure to search in you "C" drive
4. Hit Search or Find
5. The virus has a teddy bear logo with the name JDBGMGR.exe - Do NOT open it.
6. Right click to delete it.
7. Go to your Recycle Bin and delete it there also.
8. Forward this message to everyone in your address book.
******************************************************************************************************

PLEASE DO NOT DO WHAT THIS MESSAGE IS TELLING YOU TO DO!! IF YOU DO, BE
PREPARED TO RE-INSTALL YOUR WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM!!!

Neil - N6VHF
