[WIham] Hams needed to help with Rock County Tub Run June 15

Hello,

The Rock County ARES group is looking for some help on June 15. 

Each year the Harley Owners Group 5547 (Kutter Harley Davidson in Janesville) has a ride to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Over the last 19 years they have donated $1.6 million.  This year the ride is Saturday June 15th starting at noon.  

For a number of years Rock County ARES / RACES has provided communications during the ride.  We have radio operators stationed at strategic places along the route to give status & location information that is used by Harley Group to help control the key intersections as the ride winds it way through the countryside. Our efforts in the past have helped this to be a fun and safe time for everyone. The route is broken into two segments, the front and back.  Each segment can take about an hour.  There is also about a hour break in the middle. 

We usually have a great time with an afternoon of working with our radios out in the fresh air. Can we ask your assistance finding volunteers from your counties?
