Our lineup of Wed. 2m SSB net controls is always posted
at kc9bqa.com.

I realize many hams here may not have an interest in what we
call "weak-signal" VHF/UHF.
All the same, take a few minutes to scan thru kc9bqa.com's
"front page" Read the headlines and maybe you'll see something
that will help get you or a buddy fired up. I have made solid
updates this week about the summer VHF contesting season,
about motivating new rovers, and better understanding propagation.

This link http://kc9bqa.com/?p=4676 takes you to my series of
articles called VHF Contesting School. Those articles are designed
to take someone with virtually no experience and get them comfort-
able with getting on the air and calling, "CQ Contest". You are
welcome to share any or all of those articles with hams everywhere.

This is the perfect time of the year to get hams active on 6m, 2m
and higher bands.

   Thanks for your ear, 73,
   Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee

PS: The 6m Spring Sprint is from 6-10pm on Sat. evening,
May 14th. Many of you have rigs with 6m all-mode capability.
Be aware that 6m has started to open up to different parts of the
USA the past few days. This trend will increase as we head into
June and July.
If you want to learn more about the Magic Band -- 6m, the
info's there at my website. Not just me blathering on, but links
to websites like www.smirk.org.
