[WIham] VHF Contest Dates This Summer

  Again, this info is directed toward those who are VHF-curious.  

  It occurred to me that for any of you who are interested in 
trying out a VHF contest (or going roving), it might help to have 
the Summer 2011 Contest Calendar.   :)   
  
Major VHF contests are on the weekends of:

    Don't forget that the 6m Spring Sprint is on the evening of 
Sat. May 14th, from 6-10pm central time.   Many of you have 
6m and nationwide, we're seeing a big surge of interest in hams 
trying out 6m and becoming hooked.  Please note that the June 
and July contests listed above often have hour after hour where 
6m is wide open, across the country.   The July 2006 CQ VHF 
Contest is still my single-favorite contest memory.
