As many of you know D-STAR Digital Voice & Data technology has become popular 
over the last five years. 

In Illinois D-STAR Digital Voice repeaters cover much of the population of the 
state and 
are on the air in the Chicago area & Northern Illinois, Peoria, Champaign & near 
Decatur 
with more to go on the air soon. All D-STAR repeaters are connected to the 
internet and 


a weekly Illinois D-STAR net is held on Wednesday night using a D-STAR Reflector 
hosted in Illinois. 



At Radio Expo there will be a D-STAR Forum on Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 
am. 


The forum is for those new to D-STAR to learn about D-STAR and 

those experienced in D-STAR to learn about new developments in D-STAR 
technology. 


A Show & Tell is planned at the forum. Please bring your D-STAR HT,  DV Adaptor 
with Analog FM radio and 

if you have a DV Dongle and/or DVAP bring your notebook PC with a cellular data 
card for a demonstration. 


D-STAR Simplex at Radio Expo is on 145.67.
