[WIham] 146.430 FM Simplex Net *ON* 8pm Tonight

    This is a friendly roundtable net run by an individual.  All 
are welcome.  The purpose is to increase activity on less-used 
portions of 2 meters.   Listen along or say hello when you have 
time.   Remember there is frequently ragchewing after about 
8:45 or so.   You are welcome to stop by; don't have to be on 
board from the 8pm start.   We've had well over 250 unique 
callsigns check in the past 26 months.   

     I get on at 0100Z and call for check-ins first by local SE WI 
counties.   Then I open it up to "anyone/anywhere".   We enjoy 
light signals and are always looking for more DX-type activity.   
I have a vertical up 90' from a good QTH and 200w.   I can also 
switch to a 10 el vert beam up 70', if necessary.   
     IF YOU ARE DX and want me to point your way, it really 
helps if I get an email ahead of time.   Been asking for several 
months about finding more guys in different areas.  We work SE 
WI anytime.   Want to expand our reach to other parts of the 
state.   I don't think the word has gotten out.   If you can help 
spread the word, please do so.  
    If anyone knows of similar nets around WI, please advise.
