WB9LYH near Wisconsin Rapids is back at it tonight on
144.240, starting at 0100Z. He starts out looking NE toward
the U.P., then slowly edges clockwise, or E, SE, S, SW, W, NW
and finally N, toward 0215-0230Z. Most WI check-ins are in
the 0120-0140 time frame.
KA0KYZ just west of Rochester is also on 144.230 at 0100Z.
He starts out looking S, then SW, W, NW and N. He doesn't
specifically target WI, but I'm sure he'll take a look to his east
after about 0200-0230.
All are welcome, please spread the word. These are fun,
activity-oriented nets run by individuals who want more signals
on the air.
Tonight's activity is a good time to test out your VHF/UHF
gear ahead of the ARRL VHF Contest this weekend. A quick
visit to kc9bqa.com will get you more detail about our nets and
the contests.
