KC9BQA.com has been updated with 2 things.

     1) Detailed CQ WW VHF Contest report.

     2) I have the 144.240 SSB net tonight, and not WB9LYH.
So you look toward EN63ao, or 40 miles north of Milwaukee.
Remember that with 2m SSB/CW, easily 90% of the signals
are horizontally-polarized. On 2m FM, they are vertically-pol.
If you're having trouble hearing more than 20-50 miles
on 2m SSB, consider a horizontal loop, dipole or (far better)
get yourself a 9 element or longer yagi and start hearing guys
out 100-200 miles. Yes -- you can work 100-200 miles
routinely on 2m SSB. You need decent gain antennas, good
feedline, and a clear horizon is a big plus.

PS: It looks like the 146.430 FM Simplex Net may end
being a game-time decision tomorrow night, due to T-storms
in the forecast. I always announce the final word on kc9bqa.com.
