Hi jim,

 have you considered using Linux, yet.  I've been using it for logging, PSK,
RTTY, beam headings,etc.  never done much with weak signal work, but the
soft ware for it  exists (WSJT).  you can look here for more reccomends
http://www.ac6v.com/software.htm a couple googles will get you more than you
can read in one night.  the debian distro has a whole section devoted to
hamming and theregore its my prefered source.
