[WIARC] [SPF Softfail] Potential Spam] new call sign

After doing some more research, it appears W9DP was not assigned from 1979 until 1996. Prior to that, it was held by at least 3 different hams, so I think I am the fifth ham to be assigned W9DP.

Thanks to all those that offered suggestions.

Danny

Danny,

Congratulations on the initial call. Yes, it will take a while to get used to it.

Try searching this site:

https://archive.org/search.php?query=W9dp <https://archive.org/search.php?query=W9dp&sin=TXT&and%5B%5D=collection:%22callbook%22> &sin=TXT&and%5B%5D=collection:%22callbook%22

It looks like W9DP goes back as far as 1932. Several holders since then. Take a look.

After over 37 years as NG9R, I was awarded the call W9DP. It will take quite
a while to adjust, so please bear with me.

I am wanting to find the history of the call W9DP, if anyone has any
suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them.

Thanks!

Danny W9DP
