Thanks Mike, you found what I had not yet found. I still have not found who held the call between 1969 and 2000, but I have just barely started looking.

It looks like W9DP goes back as far as 1932. Several holders since then. Take a look.

After over 37 years as NG9R, I was awarded the call W9DP. It will take quite
a while to adjust, so please bear with me.
I am wanting to find the history of the call W9DP, if anyone has any
suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them.
