[WIARC] Balun Question

Mike, I bought one at the club hamfest last year, sorry I don't remember the
brand, from one of the dealers that was there. It was only $18.00 and
covered 10-80 meters (no 160). AES has it in their catalogue. You can also
make one pretty easy from some 14 gage enameled copper wire and almost any
kind of form. They are in almost any issue of the ARRL handbook. N0PB made
some up using a PVC coupler as the form (makes a toroid shaped balun).

Come to think of it, I have a kit here that I bought years ago and wound the
balun and never used it. All it needs is a connector soldered to the input
and maybe a box to put it in, if necessary. You are welcome to use it if you
like.

Danny
