[WIARC] Balun Question

I am building a 20 meter dipole out of 50 ft of 300 ohm twin lead  to take
on vacation. All the documentation says put a 4 to 1 balun on the end of the
twin lead before it goes to the radio. What type of balun have you used? Did
you like it?

Thanks for your input, I hope there is a tree right outside my hotel room
door.
