[WAR ] Any interest in MotoTRBO?

Thanks Bob and Bill for the responses. I was down on Chicago this past
week for training and met up with a few fellow Motorola ARC members, who
were discussing this mode. I'm on the fence whether or not to pursue it
further, mainly since as I understand that worldwide linking would
render the frequency digital only (and few users). Running mixed-mode
without linking is another option with perhaps a "control base" at home
for Time Slot 2. I guess TRBO linking is really no different than
IRLP/Asterisk/Echolink except for the emission mask.

Most analog machines are far too quiet these days, so it's up to us
owners to generate activity somehow. What would it take to get MotoTRBO
listed as a coordination choice? This email thread or something more formal?

Thanks,
Tony KT9AC
