I just finished a briefing from the NWS Pittsburgh regarding our upcoming
weekend Winter Storm. *Due to the importance of this, I am sharing this
message with all the club related lists*. I will also attach a link to a
YouTube video produced by the NWS Pittsburgh.

*If the most likely scenarios do occur, we will activate the North Central
West Virginia Skywarn Net likely on Sunday and/or Monday. We will be asking
for your snowfall measurements. So get those rulers ready!*

For those who want "just the facts" (apologies to Sergeant Friday of
"Dragnet,") here they are:

There are a number of possible scenarios depending on the storm track and
the water in the atmosphere. The two most likely are:

*Scenario 1 (Fluffy, dry all snow)*
By Monday
12"-18" Morgantown and Fairmont
2 feet or more in Preston and Tucker Counties

*Scenario 2 ( Wet dense snow )*
By Monday
6-10" snow in all locations
0.1" freezing rain, ice

Here is the link to the video (it runs under 4 minutes):
