Including the cities of Hendricks, Davis, Champion, Rowlesburg, Canaan
Valley, Thomas, Hazelton, Terra Alta and Parsons

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. Gusts
around 55 mph are expected for elevations above 4,000 feet across eastern
Tucker county West Virginia.

* WHERE...In West Virginia, Eastern Preston, and Tucker Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs
could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Secure outdoor objects.

Please report downed trees, power lines or large branches via the North
Central WV Skywarn Net by posting to the NWS Pittsburgh Facebook page, or
using X at NWSPittsburgh.
