The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Preston County in =West Virginia.. Tucker County in West
Virginia...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 139 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 14
miles east of Terra Alta to 8 miles south of Hendricks, or along a line
from 14 miles east of Terra Alta to 9 miles south of Parsons, moving east
at 70 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Parsons, Davis, Thomas, Hendricks, Canaan Valley State Park

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and
stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread
damaging winds.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for a portion of
NWest Virginia.
