[W8MWA] NC WV SKYWARN Net Secured

Although the Winter Storm Warnings remain in place for Preston and Tucker
Counties, the snowfall in many locations seems to be tapering off while the
temperature is slowly rising. Therefore the North Central West Virginia
SKYWARN Net has secured at 18:44 EST.

Many thanks to all stations who participated, offered reports or simply
monitored.

*** An important note: For the first time ever, the NWS Pittsburgh released
our snowfall reports in their public reports to the media. The reports were
credited to “Amateur Radio!”
