QST QST QST This message is for ALL amateurs of any club or not in any club.

Well everyone field day weekend is soon upon us and the Monongalia Wireless
Assn. wants to extend an invitation to ALL amateurs to come out and join in
on the fun. There will be folks on the mountain starting Friday 6/24
afternoon through Sunday 6/26.

Field day activities will officially start for the club on Saturday morning
with the assembly of the stations. We would like to get some help raising
the antennas. If you haven't put up a dipole this is a great chance to see
how it's done and lend a hand. If you just want to come up, talk radio and
operate some that is good to. This is a great opportunity for amateur radio
fellowship.

If you or a group would like to setup a radio and operate your own station
please contact Bill Shultz 3042889508 for details but please try to do this
by Saturday morning so details such as power and logging can be worked out.

POT LUCK DINNER will begin on Saturday at 5pm with the club providing
grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and everyone else chipping in on the side
dishes. Bring your favorite homemade or store bought food Saturday
afternoon.

If you want to spend the night you will need to bring your own provisions
(Tent, Food, etc.)
