[W8MWA] Bob West Update.

As many of you know Bob West is currently in the hospital.  Below is an
update of the relevant information as it stands now.

Bob had a fall over this weekend and could not get up without assistance.
This fall was occaisioned by his leg being weakened by a severe infection
in his left foot resulting from advanced vascular disease.  Originally this
was thought to have resulted from untreated diabetes, however, further
tests have indicated that Bob IS NOT diabetic.

None-the-less, the nature of the infection if left un-attended could result
in a life threatening condition.  As such, the doctors have decided to
remove the foot below the knee.  Bob is in surgery for that operation as of
the time of this writing.

Once Bob is out of surgery and recovered, I will post further updates
including visitation information.  I am sure he would love visitors,
however, it might be best for that to start tomorrow as today has been and
will continue to be an understandably exhausting day for him.

That is all the information I have at this point, and as I have said I will
follow up with further updates as appropriate.
