If you are using mobiles and are at higher elevations, I might be able to work you from Uniontown.  Certainly willing to try.  My "personal best" on simplex is 60+ miles - between  southern New Jersey and Delaware.  Much better DX than what I've been able to do with D-STAR.  If you're using portables, I'll have to wait until I'm making trips into town.

From a different posting, it sounds as though the club's repeaters are in transit from Japan to California.  It shouldn't be too long now.  If nothing else is scheduled as a program for January's meeting, I'll present an overview on digital voice methodologies in general, with more of a focus on System Fusion - including how the digital folks and analog folks can best get along.  (AKA "the farmer and the cowman should be friends")

Hopefully by then - I'll also have some networking information to talk about, too.
