The Narrow Band Emergency Message System (NBEMS) software is primarily designed for manned operations. In any emergency communications nets (phone, CW or digital), the Net Control Station (NCS) plays a critical role in maintaining order and prioritizing and directing the flow of traffic. In the NBEMS Net webinar, we will discuss some of the challenges that are common to all NCS operations, regardless of modes, and some of the specific challenges that are unique to the NBEMS digital nets. The presentation will start with a short Powerpoint presentation followed by a live, on-the-air NBEMS net simulation.
