Friends of Derry,

 

I have been in contact with Gwen, Davey and Dana over several days and they
are extremely appreciative of so many who have reached out to them during
this difficult time. The family is piecing their lives  together and wishes
all to understand, at this difficult time, how they collectively wish to
move forward. Within 1-3 months the family will be holding a memorial
service in the southern states for all those family members not located in
NJ. Following that, the family will hold a memorial service in NJ and in
close proximity to their home for all the friends and family located in NJ.
At this time, cards, letters, calls, email, etc. are being received and are
deeply appreciated. The family asks all to distribute this communication
thru your individual networks as they are limited on being able to reach
many as a result of missing or old contact information. As more definitive
information is received, I will communicate those details thru this contact
list.

necessary correction/s.

   It is my sad duty to notify you that Derry Galbreath, W2XT, passed away
Friday, January 24, 2014

at his home in Branchburg NJ. The local EMS and medics responded at around
11AM to a report of CPR in process, but were unable bring him back. 

 

   Once funeral arrangements are announced we'll distribute that
information.

 

   Rest in peace Derry.
