[W2CRA] ELECTION TIME 2014

Hello CRA members. 

 

Getting to be that time of the year again...ELECTIONS.  

We have a full slate of open offices for the club:

President, VicePres, Secretary, Treasurer, 3 Trustees

 If you are interested in any position we need to know this ASAP.   The
slate needs to be presented to the membership, distributed and votes
counted. As a respected club member you have 2 responsibilities: inform us
of your intentions for accepting an executive office and have your dues paid
up. 

Dues for 2014 are: Single-$30.....Family-$35....Senior (>62)  $25.....

 The election timeline is as follows:

gather member interests - thru 3/1

generate slate- thru 3/3

present slate to Board- 3/12

present to membership 3/14

mail slate to members- 3/18

total mailed election returns- 4/10

hold election/results- 4/11

The main take-away here is to GET INVOLVED with the BEST club in the region.
If an elected/exec position is not for you step up to chair or co-chair
committees for programs, hamfest, field day, public service, Technical,
ARES, RACES, education, swap/shop, Nets, hospitality, Xmas party,
recruiting.. If you still see nothing exciting then make a position. Talk to
a member of the Exec Board.
