    Here's info about John copied from the Holcombe-Fisher funeral home web site:

John Thomas McAuley
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - John Thomas McAuley, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, February 10, 2014, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

His wife, Patricia Dorothy McAuley, died in 2008. Surviving are three sons, Thomas of Glastonbury, CT, James of Stewartsville, NJ and John of New York City, NY; a daughter, Kerry McAuley of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Patricia Nenninger of Durham, NC; and seven grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

        Sorry to report this bad news, but John McAuley, AB2XH, is now a silent key. John passed away suddenly Monday at Hunterdon Medical Center.



        John has been a member of Cherryville Repeater Association for some time, and has served on the board as Treasurer.

        John's son, James (Jim) contacted me so I could pass along the information.  Jim and I worked together at Merck for several years. Jim's note to me:

        I was wondering if you are still a member of the ham radio club that my Dad is? Unfortunately I'm asking because he passed away & we are planning his funeral. He had a few close friends in the club which I have no way of getting in touch with.
