Procedures
for W2CRA Field Day, June 21-23, 2013

	1. Park as directed along the south end of the activity field.
	2. W2CRA will have two large tents, one for operations and one as a break area but bring your own antenna and radio if you have special operating needs.
	3. Sign inwith the W2CRA Site Manager when you arrive and leave.
	4. Take a few minutes to scan the Field Day Plan book when you arrive, so you’re familiar with its contents. I’ve tried to include questions the public ask and operating aids to make life easier. There should be some membership forms in the folder in the back, too.
	5. If you invite a member of the public or a visiting Ham to operate your equipment, be sure to give them a “W2CRA Field Day Certificate”, and sign it. Invite them to the next meeting.
	6. If you are running out of Field Day Certificates, alert the Site Manager.
	7. If you operate radio equipment, please use the Club Callsign “W2CRA”.
	8. Calling procedure is: “CQ, CQ, Field Day W2CRA, Whiskey, 2 Charlie Romeo Alpha.”
	9. Last person to leave in the evening, make sure all club material is secured and people have secured their radios, PCs, etc. Place all radios, etc in a locked vehicle. Remember to lock your car while on site. We cannot be responsible for its contents.
	10. Keep your logbook entries up to date.
	11. Remember:in addition to providing Emergency Backup Communications for the community, Amateur Radio is a hobby – IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. Talk about your personal, favorite, aspects of amateur radio to the public and try to get someone interested enough to take their Technician Test.

This
is Field Day. It’s supposed to be FUN!
