[W2CRA] FW: FIELD DAY needs YOU!

My private/personal pc has been in the shop. I have limited accesses. Glenn has been good enough to keep sending out the appeals for Field Day assists in many areas. 

 

I really need to get my arms around what we have and what we need. A few vendors are still holding out on assisting us but getting frustrated that I cannot give them an absolute list. I REALLY appreciate everyone sending me snippets of info about what we have/might have., But I need items and quantities, not guesses/generalities....I hate to spend $$$ unnecessarily on dupes and especially when done, followed by throwing stuff out, whether my $$ or the clubs. If you know folks who have items that can be brought/reused from previous hamfest, picnics, barQq's, etc, PLEASE reach out to me and get a list NOW PLEASE. Else I will either hope that vendors can supply us free, buy an item and have the club pay it or just forget about it. As in the past and right now, I am trying to shoot for Field Day weekend food NOT costing the club a penny. From past receipts that is a $300-350 savings.

SAT am                 DunkinDonuts coffee/munchkins/bagels

SAT pm                 ShopRite subs/salads, sodas, breakfast remains

SAT eve                usually the club has left over from HAMFEST or buys burgers/wieners/pot luck from membership-please help here***!

SUN am                Bagel Garden muffins/bagels/coffee

SUN pm???          PIZZA

 

***members to offer potluck selections (salad,dessert,chili,casseroles,veggies,pasta,covered dish,etc) SIMPLE STUFF!

 

ALSO and this is a big one…we need INSULATED coolers…lots of them…can never have too many…I will have bags of ice and no telling how hot it may get so we got to prepare for this one.   Coolers, Coolers, and More Coolers…we throw allot of stuff out bcz we cannot keep it cold….
